Industrial Management Controller

Main duties :

The industrial management controller is a key player in the plant's financial and operational performance. He/she monitors, analyzes and optimizes production costs, working closely with operational teams and management.

1. Industrial management control

  • Draw up and monitor production budgets (raw materials, energy, labor, maintenance, etc.).
  • Set up and monitor industrial performance indicators,
  • Analyze discrepancies between standard and actual costs, propose corrective actions.
  • Participate in monthly closings and accounting close-offs in conjunction with the finance department,
  • Optimize cost monitoring processes (raw materials, packaging, by-products, etc.).

2. International activity monitoring

  • Analyze profitability of export sales (margins, logistics costs, currency variations).
  • Ensure group reporting on all markets (Europe, non-Europe).
  • Provide strategic information on market prices to the sales department,

3. Support for new plant project in France

  • Set up financial and industrial management tools for the site under construction.
  • Support operational launch and transfer of best management practices.

4. Continuous improvement & tools

  • Set up a cost accounting system, 
  • Contribute to the digitization and automation of reporting tools
  • Contribute to the improvement of industrial and financial processes
  • Participate in Group-wide projects (ERP, BI, internal audit, etc.).
 
Profile required:

  • Bac +5 in finance / management control / business school / engineering with specialization in finance
  • Proven experience (3-5 years minimum) in industrial management control, ideally in the food industry
  • Excellent command of Excel, ERP (Microsoft Dynamics) and BI tools (Power BI, QlikView, etc.)
  • Good level of French and English (written/oral). Dutch a plus.
  • Analytical mindset, rigor, ability to work as part of a team and to communicate clearly with the various departments, adaptability and a feel for the field.
  • Autonomy and ability to take initiatives and manage projects.

Job specifications:

  • Position based in Belgium (production region), with regular travel to the site under construction in France.
  • Close collaboration with finance, production, logistics, R&D and sales teams
