At Ecofrost, the potato is at the heart of everything we do. Today, we celebrate this wonderful resource that feeds so many people around the world.

We are happy to introduce ourselves, Doris and Sophie, from the Administration Department !

We have been both in service in Ecofrost for more than 15 years, and French fries have no secret for us 😉

You would like to plan an order by truck and you don’t know how you can arrange it?

✅Doris will be happy to help, being on your sides for each step of the process, from the setting of the order till the loading. She will be the link between you and the Logistic Department.

• Correct product to be loaded.
• Availability of goods
• Correct quantity per pallet
• Correct price list

 You need to load a container (Export) and you need some help to arrange it in the best possible way?

✅Sophie will be your contact for :

• Boat schedule
• Availability of goods
• Correct quantity per pallet
• Correct price list
• Loading instructions

Once processes are on their way, you will be linked wit the correct Department to finalize the loading.

💛Ecofrost Tip: Prepare a delicious mash with our 3 mm potato flakes! 💛

We had a very good question at the show: how do we make mash with our flakes? 👨‍🍳

Although our potato flakes are primarily intended as an ingredient in the production of chips, chips, gnocchi or pellet snacks, some of our customers prefer to prepare them directly.

Here is our recipe for a tasty and quick mash:

🔥 Heat 350 ml of water and 400 ml of milk to approximately 75°C.

🍲 Add 125g of 3mm white or turmeric flakes to the hot mixture.

🥄 Mix for 2 minutes until creamy.

With 1 kg of flakes, we can help feed a lot of people, because it produces 9.5 kg of finished product to enjoy. 😋

Optional: Add a touch of butter if desired for an even creamier mash. 😋

The planting season is fast approaching and we have some great news to share with you! 📣 Many hectares are already planted and everything is going wonderfully. 🚜🌱 We have high expectations for the 2025 harvest, which promises to be busy and full of success! 🎉💪

We just need a little rain to give our young potato plants a boost 🌧️. Fingers crossed that Mother Nature will be on our side in the coming days 🤞.

You probably remember last year , a little more complicated with the shortage of plants ... Our farmers had to adapt by planting other varieties than usual. This year, it's something completely different! 🎉 They planted mainly Fontane and Challenger varieties, classics that we have been carefully processing for years. These potatoes are well known for their quality , and we are sure that they will do wonders for our products! 🥔

So we're getting ready for a crazy harvest, full of success and... fries galore ! 🍟✨

📣 Dear ,

For the past week, you've probably noticed that training invitations now appear directly in the message timeline 📩. You can sign up as usual. This was implemented following a request from several colleagues in the field, to make you even more eager to participate in training 💪. And here's a great development that's coming to fruition thanks to you! 👏

Another request from the field concerned the planning of mandatory training 📚: the idea is now to organize them as much as possible during production shutdowns ⏸️, in order to limit the time that everyone has to spend before or after their usual hours ⏰.

We're therefore planning to launch the next quality and safety training sessions early next year 🗓️, when the lines aren't yet running at full capacity, but staff are already present. This is a great way to respond to your feedback and continue moving forward together in the right direction 🚀.

Wondering how fridge 5 is coming along 🥶? Well, almost all the pallets from B1 and B2 go directly to fridge 5, and normally, by the end of next week, the pallets from A will also be sent there, i.e. all the packaging lines 😲!

Today, we already have 3,500 pallets stored in fridge 5, and all 11 cranes are active! Until now, we were only working with the first 4 levels, but this morning, we opened all levels to allow storage up to level 13! The highest pallets are currently on level 9 but are gradually rising! As you can see in the photos, the fridge is slowly filling up, but don't worry: we still have more than 44,000 spaces available, which is 4 times the capacity of fridges 1, 2, 3 and 4 😜!

You can also see from the photos that the docks are ready. We load about four trucks a day, and that number is gradually increasing. The new wrapping machine has arrived, as has the B-pack reverser, and little by little, the last tools are being installed on the new docks!
