NEW INSTALLATION TO TRANSFORM OUR WATER π§
Good news! Today, we commissioned a brand new installation capable of making the water from our wastewater treatment plant β¦ drinkable !
In practical terms, this technology allows us to produce 40,000 liters of drinking water every hour , the equivalent of filling 240 bathtubs . Not bad, right? π
And of course, this high-quality water will allow us to support the production of even more delicious fries ! πβ¨

β¨ Why we never use new potatoes for our hazelnuts and flakes π₯π
We have built up a sufficient stock of hazelnuts and flakes π₯ for you to meet your needs during the summer. Indeed, our production line is currently shut down for annual maintenance, at a time when the available potatoes do not allow us to obtain the quality we demand for our products.
Why β Early harvest potatoes are delicious for home cooking, but unsuitable for industrial production of hazelnuts and flakes:
πΉ Too much water, not enough dry matter β less firm texture, less crunchy hazelnuts, less homogeneous flakes.
πΉ Thin and fragile skin β no more losses and defects during processing.
πΉ More reducing sugars β uneven coloring and risk of excessive browning.
πΉ Reduced yield β less finished product for the same quantity of potatoes.
π By resuming production with perfectly ripe potatoes, we guarantee each batch a delicious taste, a beautiful golden color and an impeccable texture.

This Sunday, August 10, the roads vibrated to the rhythm of the hike organized by Cyclo 80.
Proud to support this sporting event, we accompanied the participants... right down to their shorts!

That's it! The first fresh potatoes ππΎ have just arrived at our Factory B , which has officially started production with this new harvest .
The area planted with early varieties increased by 4%, with Amora π₯ (51%) in the lead, followed by Sinora π± (38% of mid-early varieties). Bellini π continues to gain ground, while Felsina π is declining.
Open market prices π have fallen sharply, to around β¬50 per tonne, due to abundant supply π¦ and weaker demand π. At the same time, we remain vigilant in the face of rising costs π‘π¦π and regulatory requirements π.

We have started production at Site A , and that means good news: the first fries from the new potato harvest are on their way!
These fresh potatoes produce fries with a nice length , an even golden color , and an authentic potato flavor - just as they should be.
Over the next few weeks, the transition between the old and new harvest will take place gradually , to ensure consistent quality without compromise.

A brand-new forklift operator's facility opened a few weeks ago on the B2 site! The structure is now in place and the finishing touches are progressing well: all that remains is the layout and a few interior details to finalize.
