Young graduates traineeship

As part of our exciting expansion with the addition of new production lines to increase our capacity and broaden our product range, Ecofrost, located in Peruwelz, is currently looking for motivated young graduates to join our dynamic team. In this key role, you will receive on-the-job training, and will then join a specific department according to your studies, interests and the needs of the company. 

Your tasks will include :

Function:

You will receive on-the-job training in order to join a planner, IT, quality, security - job. This will give you hands-on experience of the responsibilities involved in taking decisions on a process or project. 
 
In-house training will be spread over several departments. For several months, you will be immersed in operational departments such as reception, production, packaging and loading, with a project in hand. You will also be in contact with other departments such as Quality and Admin Logistics. 
 
1 month at potato reception
3 months as a production line operator
1 month as a quality controller
5 months as a packaging line operator
2 months as a forklift operator in our fridge and on the quay

During the mission, you are interchangeable and will be able to make replacements on a previously learned position. Once you're up and running and towards the end of the journey, you'll be juggling and making substitutions on all the positions you've learned so that you can get the most out of your training. In view of your development and depending on the project you're taking over, one shift may be longer or the other shorter, always with the aim of completing the project.

During this assignment, you will develop objectives with the person in charge of the department:

Bérangère receiving potatoes
Florent for production
Andreea for quality control
Christophe and Maxcence on the packing lines
Jacques and Maxime on the fridge and on the quay
 
During your journey, you'll be working on an assignment that you'll define with your department manager.

You are open to taking internal and external training courses, such as quality, safety, first aid, forklift operator, leadership and coaching module 1, ....
 
You'll take part in Ecofrost Academy sessions, where a key note speaker will enthuse you about a particular work-related subject, followed by a small drink.
 
You will develop an overview and learn from experts how to understand the needs of each department and how they are all interconnected.

Profile:

You have recently graduated or are about to graduate as a bachelor or master.

We don't have any requirements in terms of experience, as we want to give potential young people from the school a chance.

You're dynamic, ambitious and enjoy taking up the challenge in the industrial world.

You're sociable and people-oriented

You enjoy working with different colleagues and departments. You're proactive and have strong communication skills, which enable you to motivate others.

During the induction year, you are willing to work shifts (mornings and afternoons).
